On 4 July 2026, in Tado (Choco), ELN members attacked the police station with four explosives launched from drones, partially damaging the premises. Following the attack, police officers exchanged fire with ELN members in different sectors of the municipality. The attack was part of a series of assaults carried out by the armed group in different municipalities (coded separately) as part of the commemoration of its 62nd-anniversary. Members of the armed group also blocked the Tado - Pereira highway with a tanker truck and propaganda related to the armed group. There were casualties.
