Around 6 July 2026 (as reported), in Santa Rita (Rio Oro, Choco), ELN members attacked the local police station detonating a grenade. A police officer was slightly injured. The attack was part of a series of assaults carried out by the armed group in different municipalities (coded separately) as part of the commemoration of its 62nd-anniversary. There were no casualties.
