On 24 July 2021, in Peik Ka Yar village (Mingin township, Kale district, Sagaing region), about 50 military soldiers in 3 military trucks fired indiscriminately with RPGs at the back of the village after a military informant claimed that there were PDFs hiding in the village. Casualties unknown.
