During the night of Friday, a weapon-like object was fired in Björkfors, south of Linköping. According to Aftonbladet, it happened during the filming of the TV program Farmen. The police are now investigating aggravated weapons offenses and unlawful threats after the incident.

The alarm came in at 00:38. The caller was disturbed by two people outside his property.

– These are two individuals who have been riding their four-wheeled vehicles and have been disruptive at the location. Our caller did not appreciate it and went outside to confront them. In connection with this, one of the individuals took out a weapon-like object that was obviously capable of being fired. They pointed it at a pasture, not at the property, but there were animals in the pasture, says Johnny Gustavsson, press spokesman for the police.

Neither animals nor people were injured, police said. According to police, the people were difficult to identify by age and gender.

The individuals left the scene and the police do not know if they had returned.

– They found this very unpleasant.

– We were on site and did the classic investigations and questioned everyone who was there. But it is too early to say anything about exactly what was said or whether the clues lead anywhere.

– I think it feels a little unexpected. It's not every day that we have these types of events. Especially considering where it happened.

According to Aftonbladet, the incident took place in close proximity to the TV4 production Farmen.

– It is true that there was an incident during filming the night before yesterday. Our staff on site acted according to our procedures and the police were alerted and were quickly on site, says Joel Bendrik, executive producer of TV4, to Aftonbladet.
