Twenty members of the People's Defence Force killed in Chauk Township

Magu Region, Twenty People's Defence Force members have been killed in a counter-ambush by a 100-strong police commando unit under the violent military regime near Taungtha village in Chauk Township, according to local military sources. Three sources told Red Peacock news media.
Pro-regime military lobbyists claimed they had raided a PDF camp at the border of the Paung Township and Chauk Township, but a military source said it was not a PDF camp.
The pro-coup military lobby claimed that Police Commando Battalion 1, led by Deputy Superintendent Kyauk Htoo, raided a PDF camp, resulting in a battle where twenty PDF fighters were killed and weapons and ammunition were seized. They have published the photos. A local military source told Red Peacock news media that while the exact number of casualties is not yet known, the incident is true.
Seven members of the district PDF were killed in an attack by a police commando unit under the brutal military junta, An unnamed military source has revealed that a total of twenty people, including thirteen from Battalion 1 and thirteen from Battalion 3 of the Meiktila District, have been killed.
