At least 13 Security Forces (SFs) personnel were killed when Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) cadres attacked and captured two military camps in the Kharwari Baba area of Ziarat District in Balochistan on June 27, reports The Balochistan Post. While claiming responsibility of the attack, the BLA said 13 personnel were killed and seized weapons and ammunition during what it described as an “organised military operation”. In a statement, BLA ‘spokesperson’ Jeeyand Baloch said their cadres launched simultaneous attacks on the camps, advanced from multiple directions and surrounded both positions, establishing “complete control” after intense close-quarter fighting.
