On June 27, at least three Sindh Rangers personnel and three Jamaat-ul-Ahrar (JuA) terrorists were killed, while four other Rangers personnel were injured, after terrorists attacked a Rangers facility in Block 5 of the Gulistan-i-Jauhar area of Karachi, Sindh, reports Geo TV. According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the terrorists detonated an explosive device at the facility's main gate before attempting to breach the perimeter. Rangers personnel killed three JuA terrorists and arrested an injured Afghan national during the ensuing operation. The ISPR stated that the attackers belonged to JuA and described the outfit as an "Indian proxy organisation."
