SAA event in National Capital Territory, Rohini, New Delhi area, India on Sat 27th June 2026

On June 27, Police stated that the Crime Branch arrested two operatives of the overseas-based Goldy Dhillon gang, identified as Jatin Bhardwaj alias Nannu and Sukhwinder Singh alias Bagga, in Rohini, New Delhi, reports The Tribune. Acting on specific intelligence received on June 24, 2026, the Anti-Robbery and Snatching Cell (ARSC) apprehended Jatin near Bahadur Shah Marg, Pansali Chowk, Rohini, while Sukhwinder Singh was subsequently arrested following interrogation. Police recovered one .32 bore semi-automatic pistol with four live cartridges, one country-made pistol, two live cartridges, six live cartridges in total, four mobile phones and a motorcycle from their possession. Officials stated that the accused were involved in providing logistical support to the gang and were under surveillance for their alleged role in extortion cases targeting businessmen. Further investigation is underway to trace the wider network and financial links of the syndicate.
