Other MoA event in Patuakhali District, Kalapara Sub-District area, Bangladesh on Sat 27th June 2026

On June 27, Mohammad Moazzem Hossain (40), an assistant teacher at Nur Mohammad Secondary School in Kalapara Upazila (Sub-District) of Patuakhali District and Kalapara correspondent of Ajker newspaper, was attacked and injured, in Sadar Road area adjacent to the fish market in Kalapara municipality of Kalapara Sub-District in Patuakhali District, reports Prothom Alo. Moazzem Hossain blamed the leaders and activists of the Chhatra Dal, student wing of Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP), for the attack. 10 to 12 Chhatra Dal leaders and activists led by Sub-District Chhatra Dal General Secretary Amirul Islam alias Fahim and Government Mozahar Uddin Biswas College Branch Chhatra Dal General Secretary Bellal Hossain attacked Moazzem Hossain.
