On June 25, a woman was killed and a young girl was injured after a mortar shell, fired by the terrorists of the proscribed group from an unknown location, struck a residential house in the Miryan area of Bannu District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), reports The Khyber Chronicles. Following the incident, police, security forces, and Rescue 1122 teams reached the site and launched relief and clearance operations.
