On June 25, four people were killed in an attack by ‘Khwarjis’, also referred to as Tehreek-e-Taliban (TTP) on a private ambulance travelling on the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) road in the Ghoriwala area of Bannu District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), reports The Khyber Chronicles. According to initial reports, Khawarij opened indiscriminate fire on a private ambulance passing through the Ghoriwala section of the CPEC Road, killing four people. Law enforcement agencies recovered the bodies, secured the area, and launched an investigation while the identities of the deceased are being ascertained.
