SAA event in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Sardi Khel, Bannu District area, Pakistan on Thu 25th June 2026

On June 25, four terrorist were killed in an exchange of fire during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in the Sardi Khel area in Bannu District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), reports The Khyber Chronicles. According to initial reports, security forces identified a vehicle carrying suspected terrorists based on credible intelligence and, when they attempted to intercept it, the occupants opened fire, triggering a retaliatory response that destroyed the weapons-laden vehicle in an explosion, killing all four suspected terrorists onboard. Officials said the exact nature of the explosion is being assessed as part of the ongoing investigation.
