At least 11 soldiers were killed and dozens others injured when unidentified gunmen, suspected to be Baloch insurgents, attacked a security convoy on the RCD Highway in Bela area of Lasbela District in Balochistan on July 8, reports Frontier Files. The attack involved an improvised explosive device (IED) explosion followed by an intense ambush and heavy exchange of fire.
