Six Fitna al-Hindustan (FaH, a State term for Baloch insurgents) terrorists were killed when Security Forces (SFs) carried out an intelligence-based operation near Lagap area of Dalbandin tehsil (revenue unit) in Chagai District of Balochistan on July 7, reports The Khyber Chronicle. According to SFs, the operation was launched following intelligence received from the Markhor area regarding the movement of terrorists. SFs intercepted the terrorists near Lagap. Upon being signalled to stop, the terrorists, traveling on two motorcycles and a Zamyad pickup truck, opened indiscriminate fire on the SF personnel, triggering an intense exchange of fire. SFs retaliation killed six militants during the engagement. During the operation, SFs recovered a cache of weapons, ammunition, and other materials allegedly linked to terrorist activities.
