Two operatives identified as Danish alias Chand Miya (24) and Salman (20), both residents of Muzaffarnagar in Uttar Pradesh, were arrested from Vijay Ghat area in Delhi along with three petrol bombs and Rs 2000, over links to Pakistan-linked terror modules handled by Shahzad Bhatti, reports The New Indian Express on July 7. Additional Commissioner of Police (Special Cell) Pramod Singh Kushwah said, “The first module was being handled by Pakistan’s intelligence agency ISI handler Rana Hunain, an associate of Bhatti. This module was tasked to carry out an attack on any vital installation or police establishment in Delhi using petrol bombs.”|Four operatives identified as Tayyab (27), a resident of Delhi, Jubair Khan (24), and Ali Fazal (26), residents of Uttar Pradesh, were arrested from Kalindi Kunj area of Delhi and Malkiat Singh (36), a resident of Punjab, was arrested from Amritsar in Punjab, along with three pistols and five live cartridges, over links to Pakistan-linked terror modules handled by Shahzad Bhatti, reports The New Indian Express on July 7. The second module was involved in cross-border arms trafficking and was being handled by Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) handler Hassan Gujjar, another associate of Bhatti. This module was receiving weapons smuggled from Pakistan smuggled through drones, Police added. The funds provided by the handlers were being used to finance terror and criminal activities in India.|On July 6, it was revealed by officials that Delhi Police neutralised two Pakistan-linked terror modules and arrested six operatives who were being handled by Pakistan-based Shahzad Bhatti, reports The New Indian Express. One module was tasked with carrying out a terror attack targeting a vital installation or police establishment in Delhi, while the other was involved in cross-border arms trafficking.
