On July 6, Manipur Police recovered a suspected Improvised Explosive Device (IED) and four locally made mortar shells during an area domination and foot patrol at Chiru Village in the Phayeng area under Kangchup Police Station in Kangpokpi District of Manipur, reports Manipur on X. The recoveries were made during a routine security operation. No arrests were reported in connection with the recovery, and further investigation is underway.
