Undefined Explosive Device (UED) event in Dhaka, Savar area, Bangladesh on Mon 6th July 2026

On July 6, at least four people identified as Mohammad Shahin Khandaker (30), Mohammad Jasim (26), Mohammad Shahadat Hossain (40) and Imran Hossain were injured in an explosion that occurred at a rally after the National Citizens Party (NCP)'s July parade at Tarapur Eidgah field in Savar City of Dhaka, reports Prothom Alo. This incident happened in the presence of the party's Convener Nahid Islam. The NCP stated that the cocktail attack on the rally was carried out with the help of the administration. The party's leaders and activists protested in front of the Savar Model Police Station after the incident. Nahid Islam said, "This NCP march will continue. Ignoring all the intimidation, bombings, cocktails, our march will continue and it is clear that today's cocktail explosions, bomb blasts were carried out with the help of the administration."
