On July 5, at least 30 people were injured in clashes that broke out over the dispute between two factions of the Tablighi Jamaat over the committee of the Markaz Mosque built in West Hugulia Village of Daudkandi Upazila (Sub-District) of Comilla District, reports Prothom Alo. According to the document, local residents are supposed to be on the mosque development committee, but outsiders were excluding local residents from the committee to establish dominance and have been exercising sole dominance for a long time, causing conflict.
