Three Policemen sustained injuries when the Baloch Republican Guards (BRG) cadres detonated an improvised explosive device (IED) as a Police vehicle passed through Humayun Sharif area in Shikarpur District of Sindh on July 2, reports The Balochistan Post. BRG claimed responsibility for the bomb attack. In a statement issued to the media, BRG ‘spokesperson’ Dostain Baloch said that the group’s fighters had planted an IED along a highway and detonated it as a Police vehicle passed through the area. According to the statement, three Police personnel were seriously injured in the blast, while the vehicle sustained significant damage.
