On July 2, Khalid Masood, a ‘commander’ of Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), was shot dead by unidentified gunmen in Waghaz District of Ghazni Province, reports Afghanistan International. Taliban authorities have not commented on the incident. TTP commander was shot dead as he was leaving a local TTP camp in the Waghaz District. The attackers fled the scene after the shooting.
