On 6 July at around 7 p.m., rebel forces bombed with a drone the extremist soldiers stationed at a monastery in Launglon town, It is reported that while the military suffered casualties during the attack, the number has not yet been confirmed.
"The “Chit Kwe” (Burmese soldiers) patrol has been going back and forth between Yin Maung village and Cha Phyar village, but they haven't entered the villages. We understand this attack was carried out with a drone while they were back in town and stationed in the monastery. The number of casualties among the “war dogs” cannot be confirmed, but there have been casualties," said a local military source.
The military column entered the village of Chaingyi on 1st July, opening fire and bringing in approximately 150 reinforcements with supplies from the town of Taungup, leading to clashes with the revolutionary joint forces. a battle ensued, and they reportedly retreated back to Taungup town.
