Following the capture of two military outposts in the Pyi Township by the AA, further soldiers' bodies and weapons and ammunition were recovered during the pursuit of fleeing troops.
Yangon, 7 July
Two 227-point hill outposts of the military in the Yeikyi Township, Ayeyarwady Region, were captured by the Arakan Army Arakan Army's Information and Publicity Department has released a follow-up battle report, stating that after the AA attacked and captured the two outposts, they pursued fleeing soldiers and recovered additional bodies and weapons.
The Arakan Army successfully captured two outposts of the 227th Point Hill on 2nd and 3rd July, It is understood that the fleeing members of the military junta were pursued and engaged by their forces.
During the pursuit, a further brief engagement occurred on 4 July with the fleeing military personnel, It is reported that additional weapons, ammunition, military equipment, and several bodies belonging to the enemy were also recovered.
Attacks by the military with fighter jets According to an Arakan Army statement, the military has been repeatedly bombing the camps and battle sites captured by the Arakan Army with fighter jets, carrying out drone attacks, and continuously shelling with long-range heavy weapons.
