Magu Region, The new village administrator of Komaing Village, Aye Han, who was notorious for conscripting young people into military service, was stabbed to death in the Aunglan Township, according to local sources.

Yesterday, at around midday on 6th July, the new village administrator of Komaung Village, Aye Han, was returning to the village by motorcycle when he was attacked and killed by a masked youth from Chakethayuk Village. and disfigured him before attacking with a knife. The attack was so severe that the administrator, Aye Han, died at the scene. 

The late Aye Han had only recently been appointed as the military's new administrator. The young man who attacked and killed him with a knife is understood to have escaped.

Aye Han was attacked while he was actively involved in arresting young people for the 27th military service intake, which is due to begin this July.

A local source said, "Aye Han is the new administrator appointed by the military. He was appointed not long ago. Yesterday afternoon, he was ambushed on his way to and from somewhere and attacked with a knife. A young man from Kyauk Set Kya village, who was wearing a mask to disguise his face, carried out the attack. The youth has since fled the scene. U Kyi Han is understood to be the main mover for the 27th week of military service," he said.
