The Malian army reports to have conducted major operations yesterday in Anefis, as part of the ongoing struggle for the base west of the town. The army claims to have destroyed, with help of their partners of the Russian Africa Corps, five armored vehicles, 20 pickups, 100 motorcycles and to have killed over 200 JNIM/FLA militants, as a result of 35 airstrikes. It should be noted that all destroyed armored vehicles so far were former FAMa/AC equipment they had to abandon or that were captured by the rebels and jihadists.
