On 27 July 2021, in Nam Hsar village, Nam Maw village track (Kutkai Township, Muse District, Shan-North), the artillery shells fired by an unknown armed group hit two farmers. One farmer died at the scene. Shwe Phee Myay reported that the artillery shell was believed to be fired by the Tarmoenye-based Myanmar military.
