On 28 June 2026, unknown gunmen threw a hand grenade at a tent near the southern reservoir in the southern neighborhood in Tafas town in Dara countryside, injuring three young men (30, 27, and 15 years-old girl) from the same family whom are workers in agricultural projects. There were no fatalities.
