On 1 July 2026, in Maungdaw town (Maungdaw township, Maungdaw district, Rakhine state), the Myanmar military conducted airstrikes using Y-12 transport aircraft and jet fighters and dropped a total of 17 bombs over three separate runs: four bombs during the first run, seven during the second, and six during the third, on the Maungdaw town entrance arch, and the 3-Mile area around 10:00 pm. Casualties unknown.
