On 27 June 2026, in the western part of Madaya township (Pyinoolwin district, Mandalay region), the Myanmar military conducted airstrikes 5 times with a Mi-35 jet that came from Thabeikkyin township between 7:30 am and 8:00 am as 2 military vessels navigating towards Bhamo township approached those areas. Casualties unknown. On the same day, the Myanmar military airstrikes on Yae Lel Kyun village with a jet fighter from the Tada-U airbase and another from the Magway airbase at around 5:00 pm. 5 civilians were injured.
