Around 27 June 2026 (between 26 - 28 June) (conflicting reports), the Indonesian military launched land and air strikes (likely in search of TPNPB members based on the similar strikes on 26-29 June in the regency) (coded separately) using helicopters and drones in Hitadipa district (Intan Jaya regency, Central Papua province). It damaged a church and local people's houses, and civilians (likely including Papuans based on the location) fled their houses. This was a claim made by the rebels. Casualties unknown.
