On 2 July 2026, suspected Iranian forces (coded as IRGC by default) launched 1 drone that crashed (likely as a result of an interception by U.S. forces) on a mountain in the Harir area (coded to the Harir Air Base) (Shaqlawa, Erbil), causing a fire. There were no casualties. IRGC forces conducted several drone strikes targeting Iranian Kurdish groups in Erbil that day, and U.S. forces intercepted 1 drone (presumably referring to this event).
