On 2 July 2026, time of day unclear, suspected Iranian forces (coded as IRGC by default) launched 2 missiles and 2 drones from the Kurdish areas in western Iran targeting a Komala party base in northeaster Erbil governorate (coded to the Alanah valley area, based on previous activity) (Rawanduz, Erbil). 2 missiles and 1 drone directly impacted the base, causing only material damage. U.S. forces intercepted 1 drone, which crashed near the Harir area (coded as a different event). There were no casualties.
