On 28 June 2026, U.S. forces struck with two successive strikes (coded as Air/drone strike) on Shahid Raahbar Naval Base (Sirik, Hormozgan), causing several explosions and destroying IRGC telecommunication towers. The airstrikes by the US were a retaliation for the Iranian military attack against commercial ships in the Strait of Hormuz (coded separately). Casualties unknown.
