In a coordinated operation between the Ariari Military Anti-Extortion and Kidnapping Group (Gaula Militares) and the National Police Anti-Extortion and Kidnapping Group (Gaula), three alleged members of the Ever Castro Organization were arrested by court order. They are accused of participating in extortion, criminal intelligence activities, and trafficking in improvised explosive devices. During the operation, weapons, an improvised explosive device, communications equipment, narcotics, and pamphlets related to this criminal organization were seized, impacting their criminal capabilities in the department of Meta.
