Thanks to the rapid deployment of troops and the timely response of the Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) units of the #15thBrigade, it was possible to neutralize the terrorist attack perpetrated by the ELN criminal group. After removing the tank-type vehicle that was blocking traffic on the main road connecting the department of #Chocó with the city of #Pereira, near the El Tapón sector in the municipality of #Tadó, normal traffic flow was restored on this stretch of road. In keeping with the mission of the @COL_EJERCITO (Colombian Army), we will continue to employ all our capabilities to counter any terrorist action by this illegal group that violates Human Rights and International Humanitarian Law, exposing the civilian population to constant threats and situations of violence and danger.
