Cluster Bomb / Submunition event in Kyiv area, Ukraine on Sat 4th July 2026

#Kyiv: A few days ago, State Emergency Service bomb disposal experts destroyed cluster munitions from the warhead of an X-69 missile right at the site where they were found💥

For this almost precision-engineered task, the specialists used the Avenger tactical robotic system, having first protected themselves with special EOD-9 suits.

‼️This deadly discovery proves once again that the danger does not end when the air-raid siren stops!

The enemy uses lethal weapons designed to claim as many lives as possible. Therefore, our own vigilance, caution and knowledge of mine safety rules are the first line of defence for each and every one of us.

The submunitions, which look like metal balls, are already armed and ready to detonate at any moment once they have been ejected from the warhead. The sensitivity of such ‘gifts’ from the enemy to external stimuli – namely mechanical impact, high temperatures or attempts to move them – is highly likely to cause them to detonate.
