Bomb (Air Delivered) event in Zaporizhzhia area, Ukraine on Fri 3rd July 2026

#Zaporizhzhia: SES sappers neutralized a Russian 500-kilogram air bomb that fell near a residential building.

After another Russian strike on the city, a local resident noticed a huge metal object that fell near his home and immediately called rescuers.

🔻Specialists of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine have established that it is a Russian FAB-500 air bomb, which miraculously did not detonate. The bomb was buried at a depth of about 5 meters, so engineering equipment had to be involved to extract it. The work lasted 2 days. In the end, the ammunition was successfully extracted, transported to a special place and destroyed.
