A Station House Officer (SHO), Muhammad Shaifq, was shot dead by unidentified assailants in the Mir Ali bazaar of North Waziristan District in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) on August 3, reports The Express Tribune. District Police Officer (DPO) Shafiullah Gandapur said that unidentified assailants opened fire at SHO Muhammad Shaifq when he was on his way to Shiwa Police Station. He said that the attackers were masked men riding bikes, who managed to escape after committing the crime.
