MALI🇲🇱 |🚨The Africa Corps/FAMa convoy turned back after being attacked by the FLA.

🚨 Having left Gao yesterday for Anéfis, where it was to provide support to Russian paramilitary forces entrenched in their camp, it was targeted by the FLA this afternoon.

💥 The clash took place between Tabankort and Tarkint, 40km south of Anéfis. (📽️ in comments).

🔴According to sources, between 5 and 8 military vehicles, including armored vehicles, were destroyed and abandoned at the scene.

⚠️ The FLA has issued a statement on the matter, saying it "inflicted a heavy defeat on the convoy," which "suffered significant losses."

ℹ️ In Anéfis, Russian and Malian soldiers are at risk of running out of water and food. Some local sources report a resumption of fighting this afternoon to capture the camp. Hopes for an agreement to release the soldiers, as in Kidal in April, are gradually fading.
