In Chauk Township, Magway Region, the military shot and killed one civilian and raped a woman, in addition to burning and destroying a village, displaced civilians told Khit Thit Media.

According to locals, on June 21, one column from the direction of Salay Chaung Tet and another column from the direction of Gway Pin-Myawaddy Taing, totaling around 350 troops, launched an offensive and entered villages within Chauk Township.

The military council columns shot and killed a man from Myay Padon village, and afterward, they also raped a woman from Ma Gyi Sauk village, locals said.
