An ambush on a military convoy of about 100 troops in Chauk Township, Magway Region, left seven soldiers dead, an official from the Chauk Township People's Defense Team (PFS) told Khit Thit Media.

On June 20 at around 10:30 AM, revolutionary forces ambushed a convoy consisting of one Double Cab truck and six military trucks carrying approximately 100 soldiers coming from Kyaukpadaung Township along Union Highway No. 3 in Chauk Township.

During the attack, the Double Cab truck hit a landmine, and seven soldiers onboard were killed on the spot. Additionally, about 10 soldiers from the military's side sustained severe injuries during the clash.
