On 24 June 2026, Russian Forces launched drone strikes at Kherson, Kherson, damaging a gas station, a public bus, a critical infrastructure object and causing power outages, and injuring 5 civilians, including a teenager, in the city. During the day, Russian strikes and shelling damaged critical and social infrastructure, residential buildings, including 6 apartment buildings and 9 houses, a cell tower, a gas station, an office building, agricultural machinery and cars; a civilian and a patrol police officer were killed, and 16 civilians were injured.
