On 26 June 2026, at night and in the morning, during air alert, multiple explosions occurred in the Russian-held port city of Sevastopol, Crimea. According to local sources, following the explosions, the blackout throughout the city and neighboring areas occurred. It is likely that Ukrainian mid-range drones struck the Russian energy facilities. Russian sources claimed to have shot down 70 Ukrainian drones. The extent of damage and casualties is unknown. Moreover, an Emergency Situation was declared in all of Crimea and Sevastopol city by occupation authorities.
