On 25 June 2026, in Tha Hmone Kone village (Natmauk township, Magway district, Magway region), the Myanmar military conducted airstrikes and dropped 4 bombs on the village with 2 jet fighters at around 4:20 pm, without an armed clash occurring. The military soldiers on the jet fighters also fired machine guns into the village. At least 10 houses were destroyed. 5 civilians (a 33-year-old woman, a 12-year-old boy, an 8-year-old boy, a 39-year-old man and a 69-year-old woman) were killed and 3 others were injured. 5 fatalities.
