On 24 June 2026, in Li Woe village (Demoso township, Loikaw district, Kayah state), the Myanmar military conducted drone strikes and dropped bombs and fired heavy weaponss, which fell and exploded at a kindergarten school around 1 pm. 2 children (a 10-year-old girl and a 6-year-old child), were killed and a man was injured. 2 fatalities.
