On 20 June 2026, Israeli warplanes carried out a series of airstrikes in Nabatiye city (Al Nabatieh, Al Nabatieh), severely damaging a building housing Lebanon's Central Bank branch in the city. Two other raids targeted the Ksar el Zaatar neighborhood. Israeli drones also carried out two strikes, one of them targeting a motorcycle near the Hassan Kamel Al Sabbah statue, and the other near Al Quds roundabout in the city. At 4:40 PM local time, the area near the statue was targeted again by a drone. Two individuals were killed and another was injured.
