According to the Township People's Defense Organization, a total of five people, including school-aged children, were killed on the spot after the military carried out an airstrike in Natmauk Township, Magway Region, the birthplace of independence leader General Aung San.

Two aircraft bombed Thamunkone Gyi Village, located over 10 miles east of Natmauk Town, yesterday evening (June 25), killing five civilians in total: three family members living in the same house, an elderly woman, and a middle-aged man.
