A Burmese military airstrike on the town of Kyintali in southern Rakhine State's Gwa Township on June 20 injured two civilians and destroyed local property, according to local sources.

The attack occurred at approximately 1:30 p.m. when a Burmese Air Force fighter jet dropped two 500-pound bombs near Science Road and Canary Road in Ward No. 2.

The victims have been identified as Daw Tin Tin Win, a 57-year-old woman and U Khin Maung Win, a 67-year-old man.
