Other MoA event in Kozacha Lopan area, Ukraine on Mon 29th June 2026

The Russian army, using infiltration tactics, is seeping across the border in the Kharkiv region and moving towards the village of Kozacha Lopan, located 2 kilometers from the border. According to the Ukrainian Defense Ministry, the enemy has been detected in the village itself for at least a week.

The response of the Defense Forces to the request of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry: " The enemy is attempting assault actions in the direction of Kozacha Lopan, having carried out a tactical wedge on the section of the State Border of Ukraine in the area of ​​the settlement of Hraniv. The defense forces are recording real attempts to cross the border and infiltration of Russian units in the direction of Kozacha Lopan."

Details: fighting, as UOS spokesman Viktor Tregubov clarified in a comment to the Ukrainian Press, is currently taking place between the villages of Hraniv and Kozacha Lopan.

It all started with the loss of the Veterinarka (the village of Veterinarne on the border with the Russian Federation, north of Kozacha Lopan - UP), for which the previous brigade commander was removed from his post a couple of months ago ."

Direct speech of the head of the Dergachivskaya MVA: "The Russians have already had partial success for 2-3 months in the hamlets that are part of Kozacha Lopan - these are Veterinarne, Hraniv, Shevchenko. They (the Russians - UP) entered these small hamlets and from there are making attempts to move to the Kozacha Lopan settlement.
