The Dawei District Battalion 1 announced that they launched an attack against the terrorist military while they were entering Sitpyဲ village in Launglon Township, Tanintharyi Region, to set up a base.

Clashes with the terrorist military took place from 6:00 AM on June 14 until 4:00 AM on June 15, according to Dawei District Battalion 1.

An official from Guerrilla Dawei stated, "The column retreated, but since they marched back out from Launglon town on the morning of the 2nd day, we are still monitoring them closely as they haven't reached the villages yet."

In the photographic evidence released by Guerrilla Dawei, photos of weapons and ammunition, a body of a deceased terrorist military member, and one unidentified corpse were seen.
