The Yesagyo People's Defense Team (PaKaPha) has announced that a terrorist military column returning to Yesagyo town after staying at the Linkataw Regional Police Station in Myaing Township, Magway Region for a month, was attacked and sustained casualties.
According to a statement by Yesagyo PaKaPha, the attack was carried out yesterday (June 18) at a location within Yesagyo Township.
Following a clash that lasted about an hour, seven personnel from the terrorist military side were injured, and the column retreated into Zee Taw Pyu Saw Htee (pro-military militia) village, the Yesagyo PaKaPha stated.
The Yesagyo PaKaPha also reported that 450 rounds of 5.56mm ammunition, two 60mm mortar shells, and one MA drum magazine were seized after the battle.
